Is this trip right for me?
If you are looking for an authentic tour of Manu, far from mass tourism, and want to experience the Peruvian Amazon in depth, this trip is for you.
It is an ideal experience for travelers who want to explore, observe, and feel the jungle with all their senses. Here, nature is not a passing spectacle, but a living presence that reveals itself to those who know how to explore it with respect.
More than a tour, it is a different way to discover Manu: with time, with purpose, and with a true connection.
¿Are the hikes difficult? ¿Do I need to be in good physical condition?
No. Our hikes are accessible and take place on safe trails of moderate distances, designed so that anyone can enjoy the experience. We always have a vehicle or boat nearby, which guarantees immediate support at any time.
Our guides plan each outing according to the best observation times and the pace of the group. We have welcomed travelers of all ages: from an 8-month-old baby to an 85-year-old. Manu does not require speed, only a willingness to observe and feel.
I don't like spiders or snakes. Is the trip safe?
Yes. All wildlife observations—birds, insects, reptiles, or mammals—are done from a safe distance and always under the guidance of experts. In addition, we provide rubber boots for hiking as an extra precaution.
Our accommodations are kept clean at all times and are designed to offer comfort and tranquility. The jungle is a living environment, but it is also a space where respect and knowledge guarantee a safe experience.
What should I bring? Is it cold or hot?
The trip passes through different ecosystems, each with its own climate:
- High Andean zone: cool temperatures, warm clothing recommended.
- Cloud Forest: humid and cool climate, especially at night.
- Low Amazon Rainforest: warm temperatures, which can reach 95°F during the day and drop to around 55°F at night.
We recommend bringing:

¿Do I need vaccinations, such as yellow fever?
It is not mandatory. Manu is not considered an endemic area for yellow fever, and in our more than 33 years of operation, we have not had any recorded cases among our travelers. However, you can always consult with your doctor as a general preventive measure before traveling.
¿Can I take a flight on the same day of my return?
Yes. Our return to Cusco is usually around 5:00 p.m., which allows you to take evening flights with complete peace of mind. We also recommend, if possible, spending an additional night in Cusco to rest and prolong the experience.
